Jonathan Békés has quickly established himself as one of Australia's leading cellists.

Békés is in great demand as a solo artist, chamber musician, orchestral musician and educator: nationally and internationally. He is the principal cellist in the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, he frequently performs with the Australian World Orchestra, he is a founding member of the acclaimed Tasmanian String Quartet and regularly presents recitals across the world having performed in 5 different continents.
